The Accerta Health Access Foundation announced the winners of their first-ever Health Access Grant:

Heartache2Hope, provides healing support to adults who have experienced a suicide loss:  $19,050.00

The London Community Dental Alliance: The Wright Clinic is a not-for-profit charitable oral health service that provides people who are on social assistance or low income with high-quality dental care: $25,000.00

The Northern Cancer Foundation, fulfilling oral health care in head and neck cancer patients and stem cell transplant patients: $50,000.00

The Dr. Borna Meisami Foundation:  the Restoring Smiles, Restoring Strength, Restoring Sleep program to eliminate pain, restore function and proper speech, and to some degree, alleviate the emotional trauma that arises as a result of domestic violence: $ 55,950.00

Help Accerta Health Access Foundation promote healthy lives

Does your organization promote good health in your communities?  Are your initiatives targeted at low-income and marginalized Canadians? Does your work try to fill the gaps in access to public health care programs?

The Accerta Foundation wants to hear from you. The Foundation’s mission is to promote healthcare equality in Canada. They do this by supporting at-risk communities and contributing to public system sustainability. The Foundation has a grant of $150,000 to award registered charities and organizations whose work aligns with their mission.  They’re accepting applications until 11:59 PM Sunday, December 31, 2023.

Things to Note

  1. The total grant amount is $150,000.
  2. The grant may be awarded to one or several applicants, at their discretion. 
  3. The Foundation prefers projects that provide oral health care to people in Ontario.  
  4. The Foundation will contact successful applicants after the application deadline.

The Accerta Foundation is a private foundation with registered charitable status with the Canada Revenue Agency. It is a corporation incorporated under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act. It diverts 10 percent of Accerta’s net income into selected projects within the communities it serves.
