Amazon Web Services launched the $175,000 InCommunities Calgary Fund to inspire projects that will have a positive impact across communities in Calgary and surrounding areas. Individuals, existing local groups, or nonprofit organizations are invited to apply for the funding. 

How it works

• Select an idea listed below or submit your existing project and register to get your project page
  • Playground for Entrepreneurs
  • Neighbourhood Forest
  • Little Free Pantry
  • Books for Bright Futures
  • ER Teens by Earth Rangers
  • Make Stuff Move
• Use your project page to complete the 30-Day Challenge
• Submit a photo and your action plan
• Share what impact you are having on your community

What you receive

• Seed funding to start your selected idea
• Free starter resource pack, technology tools, and support to get started
• Additional impact funding, once you report back on the social impact of your active project
