The Canadian Knowledge Hub for Giving and Volunteering, funded in part by the Government of Canada’s Social Development Partnerships Program, is an online hub for giving and volunteer data. The centre uses data from several sources, including Statistics Canada’s General Social Survey on Giving, Volunteering and Participating (GSS-GVP). The purpose of the data is to show nonprofits how data can make an impact on their organization.
