PLEO announced the launch of LawForNonProfits.ca a new legal platform for nonprofits in British Columbia. Law For Non-Profits is an expansion of the organization’s legacy project, the Legal Self-Assessment and Learning Tool (LSALT). Over the past few years, PLEO worked extensively on the LSALT, and in 2022, began working intensively with the Justice Education Society (JES) to build LawForNonProfits.ca. This simple and low-barrier digital platform is designed to help British Columbia-based nonprofits understand their legal obligations and compliance under BC law.
