Jabra released the 2023 Hybrid Ways of Working Global Report, which found that Gen Z and Millenials are more likely to struggle in virtual meetings. The study was conducted within the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Poland, and Japan by Toluna on behalf of Jabra from April 13, 2023 – April 21, 2023. The sample size for the study included 1,845 knowledge workers. According to the study, Gen Z and Millenials are two to three times more likely to feel ostracized during virtual meetings than Boomers. Despite these generations’ comfortability with digital technologies, they are the least experienced generations in the workforce, and are more likely to feel uncomfortable speaking up in meetings or have difficulty having their voice heard.
