The Ontario Government announced that applications are now open for the Ontario Anti-Hate Security and Prevention Grant (2024-25). The program will provide funds to eligible faith-based, cultural, 2SLGBTQQIA+, First Nations, Inuit, Métis and Indigenous organizations and communities to enhance or implement measures to ensure community spaces remain safe and secure from hate-motivated incidents. Applicants must be registered charities or not-for-profit corporations without share capital, First Nations band councils, First Nations tribal councils or First Nations education authorities. A one-time grant of $5,000, $7,500 or $10,000 is available for eligible organizations, as well as additional funding for non-registered chapters that meet eligibility guidelines.

Submission Deadline: December 2, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. EST.
