OUR MISSION

Our mission is to Preserve Black Cultural Heritage, Promote Social Interaction, Render assistance and Provide education to families in the Black Community in Canada through Socio-cultural, interactive programs and multimedia productions .

SERVICES

We also provide aid, support and assistance to families in visibly disadvantaged, and at risk neighborhoods and work with other agencies in rural communities in Africa, especially Nigeria, through education, housing and healthcare services.

  • We organized #BringBackOurGirls Toronto rally
  • Grateful Album Launch Feb 2014
  • My Roots Community Center 2014
  • We featured in the African Musical Extravaganza 2016
  • Book /Medical Equipment Drive 2014
  • We provide traditional musical equipment and costume for Igbo Union Canada Christmas Party for many years
  • Organized donations for 2 families who are victims of Gun violence,
  • We Facilitated the Success of the Canada@150 celebration with African Kings
  • Attended the Raptors Reception at Nathan Philips square to showcase Black and African culture with a masquerade.
  • Organised events in Schools and Churches teaching Black history. 4 years in a row
  • We sit on the Black Community Consultative Committee of the Toronto Police Force, advising Police on Gun violence, systemic racism and mental health in the Black community.
  • We helped organise the #EndSars Rally in Toronto
  • We partnered with BCCC, Black Farmers Collective, iImpact and others to organise IDPAD 2021 Event.
