The 2024 CanadaHelps Giving Report contains some disturbing news – it found that for the eleventh year running, the number of Canadians making donations to charities has declinedAccording to the report, this alarming downward trend in donations seems to transcend economic circumstances – in other words, data shows that it is not solely caused by a recession, the pandemic or inflationary spikes.
