According to Statistics Canada, the Real GDP of nonprofit institutions increased by 0.5% in the last quarter of 2022. The growth was attributable to increased activity throughout the sector, and nonprofit institutions serving the government led the increase by 0.6%. The report indicated that employment in the nonprofit sector continues to rise, yet job vacancies in the sector remain high.
