LHH released the Global Workforce of the Future Report, which examines the global workforce through an inclusive lens and provides actionable recommendations for future-proofing the workforce. Over 30,000 workers from 23 countries across 25 industries were surveyed. The research provides insights into workforce readiness in regards to digitalization, and employee sentiments around job security and expectations for the future of work. More than half of employees noted external factors (52%) and a “fear of the unknown” (51%) as holding them back in their careers. Nearly three-quarters of workers (73%) plan to stay in their current roles in 2024. From recruitment and retention strategies to professional development opportunities, the Global Workforce of the Future Report provides strategic recommendations for organizations to implement to ensure that they are investing in their workforce and planning for the future of work.
