The Province of British Columbia announced a new nonprofit network is under development to strengthen nonprofits and improve the accessibility of services. Vantage Point will lead the development of the province-wide nonprofit network, funded by the Province of British Columbia. Vantage Point, with $650,000 from the Province, will support research, planning, and data sharing regarding the state of the nonprofit sector. A steering committee of sector leaders will be developed to determine a governance model and set strategic priorities for a formal British Columbia nonprofit network. Once fully developed, the network will meet regularly to collaborate and advance work that addresses issues affecting the sector.
