BCAA released the Moving British Columbians Forward: 2023 Impact Report, which sheds light on what Gen Zs and young Millennials look for in a workplace. According to the report, 87% of 18-34 year-olds indicated that they prefer to work for socially and environmentally responsible organizations, with 61% stating that they will only work for responsible organizations. Nearly two-thirds (65%) of 18-34-year-olds in British Columbia indicated that they would work even harder for responsible organizations, and nearly half (49%) indicated they would take a slight pay cut to work for a socially and environmentally responsible organization.
